Ultimate Screw Piling Limited is an established specialist screw piling company based in the South Coast of the UK. We are here to offer our construction partners and clients the ability to have an efficient solution to more traditional groundworks offering a more economical, ‘less mess’ alternative to ‘traditional’ methods of groundwork so often prescribed by architects and engineers.

With a remarkable 76mm diameter screw pile, capable of supporting an impressive 375 kN (37.5 tonnes) ultimate load, and micro screw piles with a diameter of 50mm that can handle up to 150 kN (15 tonnes), we provide the flexibility needed for stable foundations. We also cater to wind load requirements and can produce bespoke screw piled solutions tailored to your unique job specifications.

We can review the foundation and possibly redesign, using our 3D modelling software to keep costs of materials down and allow us to get individual pile loads to keep piling depth to a minimum and keep your all costs low. Allow us to help you save money.

Examples of Value Engineering

On every project we as an engineering company will always do our very best to value engineer any project that we have involvement with. We will take a clients initial project design and once we have reviewed the building construction method and ground conditions (by way of a Soil Investigation or data we have on record for that chosen area), we will assess what we believe is the most efficient foundation solution available to our client. We will always offer alternative solutions using screw piles and various additional foundation methods such as RC Raft, Steel Ringbeam, RC Ringbeam etc and be transparent with our clients on the most efficient solution for them both in time on site, material cost and labour costs.

From this way of working over the last 3 years we have had excellent working relationships with our clients. A few examples below show how we have value engineered these projects with our clients to save them time and money with their foundation solutions.

Project 1: 

‘Wintershill, Durley, Hampshire’ – the original engineers design was for 300kN point loads and a 300mm thick RC slab; we reduced this to 150kN point loads and a 250mm slab
